Welcome to our backyard.
We started PolarMax because we wanted to share something we genuinely love — riding through real Lapland wilderness, far from the tourist routes. The feeling of discovery, adventure, and friendship.
We are professional guides based in our home village, Sinettä, 20 km north of Rovaniemi. The backcountry here is our home. We’ve spent our lives roaming these trails, training drivers and guiding people through Arctic nature — and we still can’t believe we get to do this for a living.
More like going out with friends than joining a tour.

Daily departures from Sinettä, 20 min from Rovaniemi. Gear included. Come by car or taxi (free parking) — or use our free pickup. No experience needed.
Small groups, backcountry trails, varied terrain. 3 or 7 hours — choose your distance. Tours run daily.
The Arctic night changes everything. Headlights carve through the forest, the sky opens above you.
