3h Snowmobile Adventure - Small Group

About This Experience

This is not your average sightseeing tour—it’s a real snowmobiling experience where the focus is on riding. The landscapes are stunning where we drive, but the main point is the journey itself: more time on the snowmobile, more varied terrain, and a more active pace than on standard safaris. Our Arctic Sunset Backcountry Ride takes you away from the busiest tourist trails and into quieter, more remote terrain north of our base.

Seasonal twilight (February–March): In February the tour includes more darkness and night riding. In March the days get longer, and the ride features more daylight and sunset colors— with the same backcountry experience and riding-focused approach.

  • More Driving: A snowmobiling experience designed around riding and varied terrain: small and wide trails, hills and forests, lakes and rivers.
  • Single or Shared Snowmobiles: Every participant can have their own snowmobile, or you can share one with another person in your group. Prices are per person, not per snowmobile. We  recommend single snowmobiles for easier control and just more fun.
  • Backcountry Routes, Far From the Crowds: We ride on less-travelled trails and remote sections, away from the busy tourist routes of Rovaniemi.
  • Small Group, Smooth Pace: Limited group size keeps the pace fluid and allows personal coaching from your guide.
  • Arctic Sunset Atmosphere: We ride during the best light of the day—twilight, glowing skies, and (depending on the date) darkness. Headlights add high contrast in forest sections and make the ride feel even more immersive.

The 4-Hour Arctic Sunset Backcountry Ride is designed for guests who want a more complete, more engaging snowmobiling experience—more riding, a bit more tempo, and that feeling of learning and progression. From our safari base in Sinettä, we head straight into wilder terrain where the trails get narrower and the landscape feels more remote and impressive.

We highly recommend single snowmobiles, as a snowmobile is easier and safer to handle without a passenger—especially in more technical sections. With the correct balance and center of gravity, tight forest turns, hill climbs, and open frozen lakes become a completely different experience. Shared snowmobiles are possible, but handling and balance are different with a passenger.

Who is this for? No previous snowmobiling experience is required. If you enjoy ATVs, motorsports, or any fast-paced outdoor activities, you’re in the right place. Come and experience what real snowmobiling in the heart of Lapland feels like.
Sunset and visibility are naturally weather-dependent, but the atmosphere and backcountry ride remain the same.
